Meet the Editor 💻

Hi, I’m Julia Bubenik — a professional video editor and storyteller based in Austin, TX. My love for editing started back in 5th grade with my very first Windows Movie Maker project, and it’s grown into a full-fledged passion for telling meaningful stories through video.

Over the past five years, I’ve edited 200+ videos across a wide range of creators, formats, and audiences. My experience blends self-taught skills, formal training, and years of freelance work, allowing me to craft content that’s both visually engaging and emotionally impactful.

I graduated from the University of Texas with a double major in East Asian Studies and Radio-Television-Film — a combination that has shaped the way I approach storytelling. My goal is to use my post-production expertise to bridge cultural gaps and foster understanding between American and East Asian communities. Whether through narrative films, documentaries, or various forms of short and long form content, I am dedicated to connecting diverse perspectives and sharing compelling stories.
